Remembering Dapper, my camp horse, fondly today as I work on the illustrations for Decorated Horses by Dorothy Patent Hinshaw (Charlesbridge Publishing).
I spend most days in my studios in Maine & Montana, illustrating mammals of all kinds, including kids! More & more I am writing words to go along with these illustrations.
I love visiting elementary schools & libraries to share my passion for art, animals, the natural world & of course, books!
